This study aims to examine and evaluate the didactical transposition of the subject rule as presented in the first-year secondary school textbook by tracing the concept of the subject and its related notions. The objective is to identify the main changes that occurred during its transposition and to pinpoint its strengths and weaknesses.
Additionally, the study seeks to assess the quality and relevance of the grammatical content in the textbook, evaluating its alignment with the linguistic and educational needs of the students. This research addresses several questions, the most prominent being: How was the didactical transposition of the subject rule carried out in the first-year secondary school textbook?
