Abstract
This article, entitled Cultural Variation and Educational Reform: A Reading of the Japanese Experience, is a modest contribution to the effort made to enrich the Arab and African educational experience in general and the Algerian experience in particular, and an attempt to look at one of the pioneering experiences in the field of educational systems that combine authenticity and modernity, which are the two pillars. The two basic principles upon which the educational process of any society is based.
