Pedagogical Values of The Educational Image

The primary school curricula of the second generation strive to inculcate in first year primary school learners different values. Adding to their knowledge needs, Learners at this level need to build their system of values. If the image is a necessary means to transfer knowledge from the abstract world to the world of sensory objects, then it is capable of carrying different societal values. Accordingly, the question that the research seeks to answer is: Has the image the ability to embody different values? How is the latter manifested in the picture? To answer these questions, we adopted a descriptive analytical methodology where the First-Year primary school Arabic language textbook was taken as a model.
