Abstract

This study seeks to identify the effectiveness of employing digital stories in developing the listening and speaking skills of first-year learners of primary education. This is done through presenting the steps for building digital stories based on digital story production programs designed to convert written content into interactive digital content. To achieve the aim of the study, the experimental approach was used by selecting a sample that included learners from the first and second sections of primary education at the Maryam Saadane School in Constantine. The study also relied on appropriate statistical methods to analyze the results. It has been concluded that that there are statistically significant differences that showed the effectiveness of using digital stories in enhancing the listening and the speaking skills of learners.
