The study aimed to identify the preferred learning styles of students at the Department of Exact Sciences at the Higher College of Teachers in Constantine, and whether there is a statistical significance for the differences recorded between the preferred learning styles of the students, which can be attributed to the variables of gender, branch and specialization. The descriptive approach was followed, relying on the Fleming and Bonwell Scale known as the (VARK) Scale for learning styles. The study sample consisted of (84) male and female students, and results of the study showed that student-teachers prefer visual and reading/written styles. As for the differences, they were not statistically significant with respect to the variables of branch and specialization; the difference was in favor of females according to the gender variable, especially with regard to the auditory and kinesthetic styles.
