Interim evaluation procedures in field training
Abstract
We should not believe that on-the-job training (practical internships) is sufficient to ensure that the future teacher acquires all the necessary skills related to this profession. Quite the contrary; we must think about how to proceed to train a teacher capable of self-training, self-assessment, adapting with his professional environment, launching and easily adhering to any training approach as soon as the need arises. is required, knowing that the teaching profession, like other professions: medicine, architecture, and others, requires constant self-development. This communication is a reflection on the improvement of the formative evaluation procedure during practical internships, presented in the form of some suggestions and an observation grid (Observation of the student-trainee in class), and also the determination of some benchmarks addressed to the supervisory teachers in order to be able to lead the work sessions with their student interns.
