Philosophy of education according to Karl Jaspers

Abstract

We discuss the issue of humanist orientation in the philosophy of education, as the conception of Karl Jaspers is compatible with the meaning of education as starting from and ending in the human being. He showed that philosophy can constitute the rooting of the educational act given that existentialism as a philosophy can modulate education by adapting it to various psychological, social and cultural contexts.
