The Role of Information and Communication Technology in Enhancing Language Skills

Abstract

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has revolutionised various fields,including education in general and teaching the Arabic language and its skills in particular. By leveraging these technologies, traditional methods have been  surpassed, aligning with ongoing advancements, and transforming the learning into a  more enjoyable and effective experience. This study aims to highlight the skills  involved in learning Arabic while emphasising the necessity for this vibrant language  to integrate ICT. It explores how learners' skills can be enhanced through these technologies and concludes by presenting examples of tools employed to develop  reading skills as a case study.
