Manifestations of transcendence and transformation in contemporary critical theory

Abstract

This study explores the most significant transformations the essence of the literary text has undergone, from the concept of the text document to the concept of the mark text, and then the concept of the text masterpiece. It also deals with with the tendency of some contemporary critics to move beyond the issue of transformations and attempt to question the conceptual devices behind the formation of concepts and terminologies in contemporary critical discourse.
