A proposed vision for employing modern teaching methods in light of the necessary needs of faculty members at the College of Arts and Sciences in Sharurah Governorate

Abstract

This study aims to identify the conditions necessary in the   implementation of modern teaching methods by staff members in the faculty of Arts and Sciences at Sharourah governorate and to make suggestions as to the use of these methods. To achieve this purpose the researcher followed a descriptive analytical approach and designed a (22) items questionnaire administered toa population of (133) males and females members in the faculty of Arts and Sciences at Sharourah Governorate during the academic year 1435/ 143h.  The results showed that the degree of need for the implementation of modern teaching methods was high.  There were no statistically significant differences caused by gender and experience variables. The study included many recommendations، the most important of which is the necessity to determine the training needs in order to implement  modern teaching methods
