It was a factor shaping the Arab consciousness, having opened up on multiple languages. It also allowed the appearance of special critical terms such as "imitation". How did Arabs receive Greek criticism terms, specifically the term imitation? Have they succeeded in understanding it with its special attachment to particular Greek literary genders?
