Literary Text between Old and New Rhetoric

Abstract

This paper addresses the problem of receiving the literary text in general and the narrative text in particular in the light of the rhetorical approach and all the related questions in terms of methodology, etymology and content which are mainly related to the mechanism, and the procedure for the rhetoric reading. And the extent to which Arabic texts are capable of new concepts of rhetoric, and the new interaction of the rhetorical lesson with contemporary critical curricula, in the light of the following main themes: rhetoric between the old Arabic theory and the new rhetoric, the eloquence of the text, the eloquence of narration and the eloquence of the novel.
