Creativity in the Thought of Abdul Qaher Al-Jurjani Reconstruction of the Conceptual System in Arabic Linguistics

Abstract

This article is an attempt to create a conceptual system in the Arabic Linguistic Theory by revealing the importance of creativity as a linguistic concept. This language property as cited by Chomsky's transformational generative theory was the central focus of Abdul Qaher Al-Jurjani’s thought. Indeed, we noticed his superiority in that. The latter would be investigated through the analysis of his texts trying to answer:   how did Abdul Qaher Al-Jurjani deal with the concept of linguistic creativity?
