Abstract

The study deals with an important artistic aspect in the novels of Abd al-Malik Murtad, represented in the phenomenon of "repetition", where the writer invested its artistic manifestations, its semantic effectiveness, and its aesthetic dimensions to form a gesture in a way that gives it positive energies and expressive capabilities capable of embodying his innovative vision, and his investment of the effectiveness of repetition in the artistic formation of the novels in order to enrich them and make them coherent narratives that are characterized by component unity, thus repetition becomes a mechanism of textual coherence. This research aims to reveal the aesthetics of repetition in the novels of Abd al-Malik Murtad [Pigs - Fire and Light - The Voice of the Cave]. It tries to identify its concept, types, and motives, and to what extent the writer was able to succeed in its construction to make it an effective tool within the novels.
