The Poetic Narrative in the Dreams of Al-Wahrani

Abstract

This  study  aims  to  highlight  the  ancient  Algerian  literary  heritage,  which  suffers  from  marginalization  and   forgetfulness.  This  requires  the  efforts  of  many  researchers  to  bring  it  into  existence  and  discover  its  contents,  arts  and  aesthetics. Ibn  Mahrez  Al-Wahrani  is  considered  one  of  the  most  prominent  writers  of  artistic  prose  in  the  sixth  century  A.  H.  His  books  had  a  unique  style  of  narration  and  tale,  and  a  great  mastery  of  language  in  a  poetic  artistic  style,  in  addition  to  his  efforts  in  creating  and  rooting  for  the  art  of   (el-manamat).   He also excelled in writing (el-maqamat) and artistic messages.
