The Ordeal of Time Writing in Wassini Al-Aradj Novels

Abstract

This  study  aims  to  approach  the  mechanisms  of  building  time  in  the  trilogy  of  Wassini Al-Araj,  in  which  an  early  awareness  of  experimentation  appears  at  the  writing  level.  The  novelist  tried,  through  it,  to  tell  history  imaginatively  by  drawing  inspiration  from  the  focal  events  in  the  history  of  Algeria  to  weave  the  threads  of  the  times  of  his  characters  who  suffer  from  a  severe  existential  and  intellectual  crisis  that  pushes  them  to  question  history  and  search  for  the  past  to  prove  the  lost  identity  in  order  to  open  up  to  the  future  time  that  seems  cloudy  and  featureless.
