Abstract

This article deals with the problem of the relationships linking hermeneutics to truth. The question is the following: what are the elements that distinguish Gadamer's vision from that of hermeneutics such as Schleiermacher, Dilthey or Ricoeur, showing that Gadamer starts from the relativization of the ideal of the method. . This understanding is not conditioned by the actions of the soul itself, but is the model for the existence of the two lives containing the whole of experience. The truth does not require a methodical manner but a dialectical vision. Gadamer adds that truth is born from the extension of the field of understanding and becomes an existence with the Other thanks to the experience of autonomous continuity. language constitutes the environment in which understanding occurs. Each reading of the text thus becomes a reading and an interpretation of the heritage to the extent.
