Teaching sociology between science and ideology

Abstract

Between the call for ideological neutrality on the one hand, and the persistence for absolute ideological obligation on the other hand, the problem of teaching sociology between science and ideology imposes itself with force and insistence . It is a part that does not dissociate itself from the study of sociology, that which is interested in studying the relationships between sociological practice for which objective scientific foundations are required, and the influence of ideological values. Also, it is considered to be an indivisible part of the old and recent dialogue on the scientificity of sociology and the degree of achievement of scientific objectivity, and the role of the sociologist and the limits of his sociological practice, and On the other hand, it will remain the theoretical and practical interpretation of our sociological reality with its different historical, ecological and empirical visions.
