Résumé

The study interrogates the presence of imagination as a dialogic mechanism in the philosophy of Al-Farabi, Ibn Sina, and Ibn Rushd, constructing discourse that integrates knowledge and persuasion.

It employs a comparative analytical methodology, tracing the structure and functions of imagination in their texts (The Virtuous City, Hayy ibn Yaqzan, Fasl al-Maqal).

Central questions address how imagination engages the masses through sensory images and elites through symbols, bridging the gap between demonstration and rhetoric.

It also examines its role in cognitive communication between reason and imagination, philosophy and revelation.
