Abstract

This study seeks to uncover the mechanisms used to develop linguistic ability in fifth-grade primary school students, based on textbooks containing texts on listening comprehension and reading comprehension. The aim is to identify the most important mechanisms that enable students to acquire a linguistic vocabulary that constitutes a linguistic resource that will support them in their learning process, and to identify the obstacles that hinder students' linguistic development. The analytical approach was used to study the mechanisms of acquiring the skill through the textbook.
