Abstract

The polarization of Islamic websites of the phenomenon of exaggeration of religious practices and their repercussions have become an exhausting obsession for communities worldwide. This therefore calls for an urgent need to highlighting the events attributed to the phenomenon in the selected websites, and thus emphasizing the relationship between intellectual and behavioral practices. Also, having discussed the importance and role of these sites, we will focus in this article on content analysis of the latter in order to show the impact of their role on the phenomenon of excessive religious practices, and then propose the necessary solutions to counter this phenomenon and curb its spread.
