Abstract

This paper deals with the interaction of rhythmic structure and sound structure through the voice of the rhyme model searching for possible signs included in a poem by Algerian poet Hassan Douas, "Poetic glimpses in praise of God’s Best Creature". We have focused on the poetic meter and changes and alterations brought to it as to whether they had positive effects on the general structure of poetic text? Or did they have a negative impact on the poetic achievement of the poet? We also consider the poet’s choice of rymes and their semantic impact in relation to the sub-genre of Praise, especially when the subject if the Prophet (Prayers ans peace be on him).
