Efforts of the Higher Council for Arabic Language in Developing Specialized Lexicons: A Case Study of the Physics Lexicon

Abstract

        This study aims to disclose the contributions of the Supreme Council for Arabic Language in the specialized educational lexicon industry by monitoring Dr. Saleh Belaid's efforts to upgrade the Arabic language in general and the lexicon in particular through an analytical descriptive approach of a pioneering experiment issued by the Higher Council for Arabic Language in Algeria, Physics lexicon sample. This is all in order to enlighten the development of the specialized lexical industry and to investigate the scientific aspects that can be moved in order to upgrade the Arabic language on its lexical side.
