Abstract

In Mohamed Bennis's critical experience, various concepts are explained, the most important of which is the term "modernity," particularly poetic modernity. Bennis enumerates the key foundations and components of Arabic poetic modernity, considering poetry as the symbol of our renaissance and the emblem of modernization in the cultural sphere throughout the twentieth century. In this period, the poetic modernization movement emerged at the forefront  of the Arabic cultural movement. This article aims to explore these concepts and identify these foundations by deconstructing Bennis's critical discourse and addressing the question: What are the components of poetic modernity in Mohamed Bennis's critical experience?
