Conflict of the Self and Narration of Identity in the Lamiyat of the Arabs

The article explores the issue of narrating identity from the perspective of postmodern critique (cultural critique), based on the belief in multiple identities rather than a single, unified identity. This belief leads to a deconstructive phase, where the self becomes fragmented into multiple selves governed by an ideological value system.
This is reflected in the Lamiyat of the Arabs, where the poetic self is no longer able to maintain a single identity. Instead, we see a multiplicity of identities within the poetic text. This leads to the question of the self in relation to the other, from the perspective of postmodern critique, addressing the issue of How is the narration of identity represented in the Lamiyat of the Arabs? And to what extent can postmodern concepts be applied to the specificity of identity in ancient poetry?
