The Presuppositions of the Dialogical Discourses in Al-Hariri's San'ani “Maqama”
Abstract
This research aims at revealing the implicit meaning of the discourse in the San’ani Maqama, clarifying the participatory relationship between the parties of the dialogical process based on the cognitive background that governs them, as well as showing the manifestations of this relationship in the Maqama and the extent of its rule in the dialogues and its impact on them. This could be achieved by descriptively and analytically examining the various textual discourses that form the linguistic fabric of the Maqama so that we can delve into what is behind the apparent meaning and investigate it to know the implicit meanings that express the presuppositions, which the study has proven to have a strong presence in this Maqama.
