Abstract
This research aims to address the issue of virility in Arab criticism through the most prominent of the ancient people who looked at it, led by Al-Asma'i and Ibn Salam Al-Jemahi. Because they are best suited to such theoretical studies, and we will try to answer the following problems: How did the issue of virility manifest itself in the ancient critical lesson?
