Abstract

The utilization of authentic and created materials is extensively examined in French language education, with each having its distinct advantages and limitations.

Authentic materials expose learners to diverse linguistic varieties, fostering improved comprehension and communication skills. Created materials, on the other hand, are tailored to meet learners' specific needs, targeting particular aspects of the language.

This study seeks to compare the impact of both types of materials on French language learning. Two examples will be thoroughly analyzed for this purpose.
