Abstract

This research deals with belonging as a human and social phenomenon that has contributed to the formation of nervous awareness in the pre_islamic era, in which its members believed that they belonged to a one origin, and one blood, and one homeland. This is reflected in the features of the dissolution of the individual self in the collective spirit. Thus, belonging to the individual establishes the legitimacy of existence, survival, and continuity.

The study was concerned with researching origins and lineages that constituted the tribal society considering affiliation as a social phenomenon linked mainly to the principle of decent.

The study focused on the category of saàlik showing the extent to which it embodies the nervous spirit and how it deals with the phenomenon of belonging.
