Aesthetics of Heritage Employment in the al-Ḥashshāsh wālḥlāzyn Diwan of Poet Ashour Boukalloua

Abstract

Heritage recruitment" is considered one of the most important modern techniques that enabled poets to benefit from an endless source of connotations and meanings, and contributed to the promotion of poetic creativity. How did Algerian poetry benefit from this technique to contribute to its development and progress? To answer, the choice of the "Al-Ḥashshāsh Wālḥlāzyn" collection by the poet Ashour Boukalloua was made to demonstrate how much this technique contributed to beautifying the poems of the collection, and how it was an excellent example of the development of Algerian poetry and its keeping up with Arab and international poetic modernity.
