Abstract

The application of mathematical thought in Arabic linguistic sciences empowered our early scholars to establish a robust foundation and uncover scientific theories resilient against criticism. They bequeathed a grammatical legacy characterized by precision and systematic organization. Despite the dust accumulating on these precious treasures, we have chosen to delve into one of these methodological mental concepts embodied in the Khalilian theory—the concept of the grammatical chapter. This  concept  represents a methodological mental approach in grammatical analysis. From  a mathematical-linguistic perspective, we explore its definition and its relationship with other linguistic mathematical concepts pursued by these scholars. Given that the grammatical section remains a concept muddled by confusion and ambiguity among linguists, this study aims to uncover the reasons behind the persistent lack of clarity surrounding these concepts.
