Abstract

Interpretation is one of the issues that has attracted the attention of grammarians - ancient and modern - although the ancients have used interpretation as a mechanism in treating texts and linguistic evidence since the first grammarians. Then its role increased as a mechanism for grammarians in dealing with the evidence and texts that deviated from their rules or the sub-issues that were difficult for them to work on. Their minds, but until the end of the third century, their interpretations, applications, and analyzes were far from affectation and controversy, so it was not resorted to unless it was necessary to agree with the standards of grammar and its principles.
