Abstract

Digital  poetry  is  born  from  the  pollination  between  poetry  and  informatics.  The  computer  becomes  the  holder  of  the  poem  which  is  designed  for  its  screen.  It is an interactive poem with a hyperlink.  The  text  maker  invests  the  computer  screen  in  both  its   dimensions,  and  publishes  his  text  with  sound  and  image.  It  is  only  manifested  in  the  electronic  medium  by  relying  on  the  techniques  provided  by  modern  technology,  and   taking  advantage  of  multimedia  in  creating  different  types  of  poetry.  We  will  take  the  poem  (In  the  Garden  of  Recounting) by  the  American  poet (Robert  Kendall) as  a   material  for  study.   This  poem  is  one  of  the  first  Western  digital  poems  which  moves  from  the  voluntariness   of   the   pen  to  the  electronic  letter  temptation,   and   which   is  based  on  the  system  of  linguistic  and  non-linguistic  encryption  that  is  mainly  based  on  text  bifurcation  through  interconnected  nodes  and  hypermedia  by   introducing   audio-visual  media  into  the  text  of  the  poem  through  a  total  destruction  of  known  poetic  rules.
