Z’hor Ounissi wrote her diaries for her cause which is also a cause of society, and she was insisting on exercising her freedom to resist an abusive authority. This is why the theme of the self occupies an important place in the diaries. The self is considered as a passage to revive her story based on a realistic reference supported by the principle of perfect conformity between the narrator and the personality. But at the level of this model of narrative writing, we are within the time of imagination, and we are not concerned with the question of conformity because the self of the narrator penetrates a biography or culture in order to search for her identity in the history of her ideas and life.
