Abstract

The study aims at determining the ironic paradox manifestations for "Amara Lakhous" in his novel "Little Cairo" that depends in its structure on the paradox. It is considered as a stylistic rhetorical phenomenon that has a variant meaningful dimensions related to The Observation of alienation; one of this indications is the phenomenon of Islamophopia that becomes an obstacle facing Emigrants and their integration in the Italian society specially after the 11 September . We can say that the general aim of the Novel is to present and define Islam through its principles according to the Far Right that considers all immigrants, specially Muslims, as enemies that must be fought .The paradox shows also cases of racism that is based on prejudice .The core of the novel is a research for ways of living with others through dialogue that is based on ironic paradox.
