Abstract

The choice of pedagogical support has become decisive in the teaching of the French language, namely oral expression. A range of supports is currently available, depending on training methods and contexts. In Algeria, the teaching of French as a foreign language remains a challenge in that it is not easy to get learners to build communication skills and to acquire new means of oral expression. Thanks to its strengths, multimedia support has always attracted teachers of the French language to the point that it has become a privileged tool in the activities of comprehension/ speaking. Its use has given full and complete satisfaction especially in relation to its ability to motivate, and individualize learning and therefore help towards learner autonomy.
