The phenomenon of violence towards teachers in middle school And secondary institutes: A study of contextual factors, and an attempt to suggest practical solutions

Abstract

This study examines the phenomenon of violence experienced by teachers on the part of certain categories of pupils. In its first stage, it aims at probing the contextual factors generating the violent behaviors while trying to understand their genesis. In the second stage, we have put forward some practical proposals for managing this phenomenon by referring to the results of fieldwork carried out in a number of colleges and lycées, in addition to the contributions of a literature produced in this field field.
