Thresholds of the travel text “The Book of Days (Travels That Are Not Afraid of Imagination)” by Shuaib Halifi

Abstract

The writer Chouaib Halifi surrounds his travel text entitled Kitab el Ayyem  " Book of days" with different important     linguistic thresholds that add to the subject of travel literary images which comprise the real and the literary dimensions of the described object. In the text of "The Book of days, the textual thresholds begin its journey with the title to the introduction, then moves to the start and the internal margins of text; these elements are considered essential tools for building the travelling work for Shouaib Halifi. The interest of the writer in these structural elements is due to his permanent academic concern with the travel literature. That is why he does not hesitate to transform the geographic travel into a narrative text based on different elements that alert the audience to the goal of the text, the   circumstances of its writing and the stages of its creation.
