Criticism of literary criticism: A reading of the components of critical discourse according to George Salem
Abstract
The criticism of criticism essentially studies the discourse of literary criticism, and differs from literary study and literary criticism by their object of study which is literary creation. The criticism of criticism borrows the references of criticism and tries, through discursive manifestations, to read the corpus of criticism and its components according to paths including theory, historicity, cognitivism, or the test of validity. This article seeks to elucidate the epistemological aspect in the criticism of George Salem through his works: Romantic Adventure, and Literary Studies.
