History of the literary lesson from Taha Hussein to Hans Robert Jaus An interesting book as an example
Abstract
This study addresses the problems inherent in the historical approach to the literature lesson in the textbook El Mouchawiq intended for students in the first year of secondary school, literature option. The approach is motivated, among other things, by a fundamental question: Does the design of the manual arise from a theoretical approach aiming to elucidate the evolution of the literary text allowing the student to have a panoramic vision? The observation that we have drawn up shows, on the contrary, that teaching rather favors an approach which is reduced to the texts of great authors. For the purposes of our studies we relied on the hypotheses set out by Taha Hussein in his famous work On Pre-Islamic Literature and those of Hans Robert Yauss in his work The Aesthetics of Reception, both raising important questions method and procedure.
