Abstract

In our socio-cultural structure the multiplication of Berber studies has been perceptible for decades and continues to evolve until today. Anthropologists, prehistorians, historians, archaeologists, sociologists and linguists have written about this civilization. The presence of popular poetry specific to the Berber community has developed with illustrious Berber thinkers or writers belonging to French-speaking Algerian literature and many other figures of our heritage, as well as those who chose to express yourself in Berber. So what are these literary writings? From the oldest collections during the colonial period to the most recent studies, the abundance of writings in this field allows us to discover the richness of a traditionally oral literature and the writings which have replaced it. This article is a chronological bibliographic essay, with a technical contribution, designed as a working instrument for documentary use.
