The mechanisms of French real estate policy and its role in changing the structures of Algerian society The Hanansha tribe is an example
Abstract
The application of land laws played a very important role during the 19th century; these laws are at the origin of the upheaval of the traditional and ancestral structures of tribal communities. In the case of one of the largest tribes in eastern Algeria, those of the Henenchas, the impact resulted in the imbalance of structures and the irrevocable loss of geographical space.
