Akkad's poetry between his supporters and his opponents

Abstract

This article deals with the poetic sensitivity of Abbas Mahmoud Al Akkad, between supporters and detractors. Among the latter, Maroun Abboud recognizes the greatness of a man of letters and an unrivaled thinker but deprives him of the quality of a great poet and even ironizes the poetic practice of Al Akkad.
