Linguistics and language teaching: From linguistic application to educational
Abstract
Among the figures of the problem of linguistic terminology we note the confusion of the two terms “applied linguistics” and “language teaching” known as areas of experience which are interested in questions of teaching and learning of languages. In this case it will be difficult to define the limits of each term. The question of language teaching initially flourished within linguistic application, then it was linked to a more specific area of specialization, in this case, that of language didactics.
