Abstract

The study investigates representations of experimentation in contemporary Arabic narrative discourse, using Mohamed Berrada's "The Arabic Novel and the Renewal Wager" as an analytical model.

It follows a descriptive-analytical methodology tracking artistic phenomena (linguistic hybridization, fragmentation, dissolution) and intellectual ones (critique of the taboo triad, knowledge appropriation).

Central questions address: What are the boundaries of Arabic novelistic experimentation in Berrada's view? How do renewal forms manifest in dismantling traditional structures and deploying linguistic multiplicity and autodiegetic imagination?
