Itinerant experience and literary creation: a poetic perspective

Abstract

This article aims to demonstrate that travel is much more than a simple act of moving from one place to another; it is a true experience of personal transformation. It opens the door not only to discovering the outside world but also to exploring oneself, by disrupting our points of reference and enriching our worldview. This process—both physical, mental, and emotional—allows for a deeper understanding of other cultures and of oneself. It shows how travel becomes a catalyst for reflection, imagination, and creativity, and how writing plays a central role in this dynamic.
