Poetics of hybridity and postmodern dynamics of the Algerian novel: the case of “Archeology of chaos (lovers)” by Mustapha Benfodil

Archeology of chaos (lovers) by M. Benfodil plunges us into a romantic atmosphere as surprising as it is dizzying, an “off-track” work whose iconoclastic poetics displays an almost anarchic embedding of the most divergent data and linguistic forms. The novel is transformed into an “out of the ordinary” linguistic and aesthetic device. The object of our research is to detect these scriptural strategies which underlie a fiction of an “undecidable” nature on the narrative, generic and formal level. We will see that the poetics of questioning is based on an internal process itself disjointed which combines the confluence of codes/voices, eclecticism of forms and fantasy of processes.
