Abstract

The study tracks the discourse of national crisis/ordeal in contemporary Algerian fiction, from the Black Decade's reality to narrative imagination.

It employs a descriptive methodology, deconstructing terminological issues (oreal novel, Black Decade, hasty novel) and analyzing manifestations in works by Wat'ar, al-A'raj, and Bougdoura.

Central questions probe the transition from degraded reality to fragile fiction, and experimentation's role against tragic immediacy.

It highlights characteristics: multilingualism, violence recurrence, imaginative fragility, and narrative rebellion.
