This study excavates the implicit structures of the marginalized feminine self in historical narratives about Aisha bint Talha and Sukayna bint al-Husayn, renowned for their knowledge and eloquence despite the marginalization of their intellectual roles in favor of lineage and beauty.

It interrogates: To what extent did they assert their selves and challenge prevailing structures? What were the avenues of their rebellion? Is their experience pioneering for understanding the Muslim Arab woman's role?

The methodology adopts cultural criticism alongside analysis of their biographies and the Umayyad context, drawing on historical and literary sources.

It reveals their resistance to patriarchal norms through Aisha's autonomy and Sukayna's cultural salons, advocating a critical rereading of heritage
