Abstract

This research sheds light on the Arab theater, which witnessed radical changes in the text and presentation, when it reduced the distance between it and the viewer/reader after weaning him/her from reality and entering him/her into the arena of conflict, to disrupt life and to change the coordinates and make him/her critical with a syndrome of change and renewal and the search for existence. This is how the Tunisian Theater dared, When Al-Zaghbani directed his critical compass to society, to focus on the phenomenon of moral corruption and the rotting of extremist religious thought, so that the fourth art became an expression of existence and a depiction of the absent reality.
